DEPARTURE CHECKLIST

Move any interior and exterior furniture, belongings, utensils, games and pool toys back in their original places.

Take out all trash, bottles, cans and recyclable items and put in the appropriate bins on the main roads. Find location map of trash and recycling bins on the laminated welcome cards displayed in each rental accommodation.

Pack up or throw away cooked food in the kitchen and in the fridge.

All dinnerware, pots, pans, glasses should be cleaned and the dishwasher empty.

Pile dirty kitchen linens on the kitchen floor.

Make sure appliances, electronics, heating and cooling equipment, toasters, ovens, hobs, coffee makers, TV, electric ceiling fans, etc., are turned off. Put their remote controls on the kitchen table.

Turn off and unplug any indoor and outdoor space heaters.

Check that kitchen hobs, gas or electric grills are switched off and grill-grates are unsoiled.

Check throughout inside the Holiday Property (including under the beds, in drawers, safes and around all electrical outlets), outside and on roof terraces for any personal items.

Empty ash trays, pick up cigarette buds, confetti, discarded chewing gums, trash, wash off floor and wall graffiti and else in all private and communal spaces like roof terraces, play area, patios, grass, etc.

Strip the beds and put used bed linens on the unmade beds.

Pile used rented towels or other bath linens on the floor of each bathroom shower.

Close exterior doors but open all windows for ventilation.

Turn off all interior and exterior lights.

Put the keyrings of all 5 rental properties on the kitchen table inside Villa Malaga.

Have exact cash or credit card available for any extra expenditures payable to the Landlord before Check-Out.

Leave a list of damages, issues, anything the Tenant ran out of, something the Landlord didn’t provide that could be helpful for the next guest or feedback for the Landlord.
